I was talking to my neighbor about getting the siding done on my house, and he told me about a Title 1 home improvement loan. I had no idea what it was so I googled it. The HUD website has a number to call to find out what banks in your area provide and service Title 1 loans. Home Loan Investment Bank (HLIB) does just that, so I called and the person that answered the phone was Daniella Muschiano. It must have been my lucky day to get her because she is amazing! My situation wasn't cookie cutter, but Daniella knows her business and helped me through it like it was just as personal for her as it was for me. So after about a month of me getting all the paperwork she needed to get this loan done and it was time to close, there was an issue with the notary. So her manager Brian came to my work to go over everything and for me to sign the papers, that was very convenient. They are a top notch institution, and super nice. My wife and I just concluded the process of getting a FHA home improvement loan through your bank. Throughout this process, I have been working with Daniella Muschiano. I think feedback is important, so I am writing to you directly to give you my feedback on what it was like to work with Daniella. First, I should say that I did not want to work with your bank. My reluctance was not because of any negative feelings that I had about your company. Rather, it was because my wife and I live in Washington State and the thought of doing such an important transaction with an office so far away from where we live made me very uncomfortable. However, after speaking with HUD they recommended that I call your bank to answer my questions and learn more about the specifics of getting a FHA loan. Daniella was the person that I reached and I have been working with her throughout this process. Because of our geographical separation and the need to have this transaction recorded correctly, I had more than a few questions for her. Sometimes, I raised them through a phone call and sometimes I raised them via an email. No matter how I raised my questions, however, Daniella was always a pleasure to work with on this loan application: she was professional, patient, and thorough. I am glad I reached her to help us on this journey. As a senior citizen, I've learned the value of maintaining a healthy level of skepticism when interacting with people on business and money. This is especially true when I cannot meet with them in person to get a sense of who they are. Thousands of miles separate Rhode Island from Washington but with Daniella I never felt we were at a disadvantage in this process. What I find special about Daniella is that she has an ability to put you at ease without ever meeting her in person. It's genuine and it doesn't come across as scripted communication techniques learned in a customer service training class.
