Scott is part of a team of bankers serving Home Loan Investment Bank’s new Metro New York City market. He brings 10 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending to the position.
Prior to joining Home Loan, Scott worked as a senior mortgage banker for Flagstar Bank and Federal Savings Bank in Manhattan, and as a real estate agent for Kinard Realty Group in Stamford, Conn. He has extensive knowledge of the mortgage approval process, as well as the guidelines and regulations for a wide variety of mortgage products, including VA, FHA, Federal Home Loan and Fannie Mae. His extensive client base encompasses first time, self-employed, high net worth and commercial buyers.
Scott, a resident of Stamford, is a member of Stamford/Greenwich Board of Realtors. Before transitioning to real estate and mortgage lending, Scott served 10 years as a Detective in the NYPD, finishing his career serving in the Emergency Service Unit, the division of the NYPD that performs rescue, SWAT and other high risk tactical, counternarcotic and counterterror operations. Prior to that, Scott served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps, receiving numerous awards and commendations. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s college with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance.
