MAKE A COMMITMENT TO YOUR COMMUNITY We started as a small local business, and we still feel that it's our responsibility to give back to the community that we call home.
That's why Home Loan takes strides to support organizations that are making our neighborhoods better places to live and work.
These are just a few of the organizations that Home Loan supports by donating both funds and time. View a complete list.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
St. Jude is devoted to researching disease to save more children's lives. In fact, they accept and treat patients even if they have no health insurance, and patients never pay more than their insurance covers.
To help their cause, Home Loan has helped raise over a half-million dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition, Home Loan made a sizable donation to help the partnership between St. Jude and Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin, Ireland to move pediatric hematology-oncology research forward.

Lou Gehrig's Disease
Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a neurodegenerative disease that breaks down motor neurons, the cells that reach between the brain, spinal cord, and to all the muscles of the body. People with the disease loose control of their muscles, and many become totally paralyzed, while their minds remain unaffected. Home Loan contributes to the cause so that someday a cure will be found.
Habitat For Humanity
Everyone deserves a safe place to live. Home Loan supports the efforts of Habitat for Humanity by donating funds and volunteer time to create several homes for low-income, single parent families.
The McAuley Corporation
Home Loan works with the McAuley Corporation, a low-income, FHFB-approved housing developer, by providing significant financial assistance to build several homes in the Providence area. In addition, Home Loan bank staff prepared a grant for the corporation, on bank-paid time and using bank resources, requesting a $300,000 direct subsidy from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston to expand and refurbish the meal site and to rehabilitate 7 subsidized two- and three-bedroom apartments for very low-income residents.
Boys & Girls Club
Many kids need a safe, positive place to go after school lets out. The Boys & Girls Club of America provides programs and services so kids can learn, grow, and have fun. Home Loan supports multiple chapters of the Boys & Girls Club with financial support for activities, events, and programs.
Providence Black Repertory Company
The Providence Black Repertory Company focuses on bringing together diverse individuals to celebrate the contributions of black artists in American history. Since 2002, Home Loan has been supporting the Company, both financially and by providing grant-writing assistance.
The Horace and Reverend E. Naomi Craig Scholarship Fund
This fund is unique in that it enables gifted, low-income fifth, sixth or seventh grade students to attended independent or parochial school by supplying the needed monies. Home Loan supports this effort to provide quality education, and continues to donate funds for this cause.
